We came here with friends on the recommendation of a coworker. All four of us loved the dinner and appreciated the suggestion to try it out. We started with the shaved summer squash with basil pesto, Parmesan and pepitas. It was a light and delicious dish. Our server shared how they flew in their salmon from Alaska so I thought it was worth a try. It was delicious and the portion was generous. It was perfectly cooked with great flavor. My husband went with the niman ranch ribeye which had quite the presentation on the plate. My husband had no trouble finishing the dish as the meat was prepared perfectly with great flavor. The restaurant is on the small side so we'd recommend having reservations. Recognizing they change up the menu during the year it gives you more reason to return often.

Seasonal and creative menu, you can tell the pride of ownership within these walls , and it is a special place to have a home cooked and intentional meal with ingredients you can trust. Service was prompt and made us feel welcome and answered all of our questions

To begin the staff was sooo friendly and the service was top notch. Ashley was an awesome waitress. All of the ingredients used are fresh so the menu changes every month due to what is in season. I loved the pasta dish the most. The portion sizing was very generous. I would have loved more seafood options on the menu. They have indoor and outdoor seating, it's a nice intimate space.

Food and service were both excellent. The Peruvian egg rolls were my favorite. The lamb was very good as well. Very cute and romantic on the inside.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining outside at FnB for a sunset dinner Friday night. Chance, the waiter, took good care of us checking in multiple times during the evening. I found bottles of wine and bubbly to be reasonably priced so decided on a Spanish sparkler for appetizer and dinner. The James Beard award winning chef certainly dazzled with a perfect blend of expertly cooked vegetables along with with our entree's. My wife had the middle eastern chicken and I truly enjoyed the grilled wreckfish/tilefish. To have wreckfish/tilefish here in the desert was a special treat! Would highly recommend FnB to anyone looking for a special evening out or a relaxed evening atmosphere for dinner in downtown Scottsdale. Enjoy!

If you're looking for a nice sit down restaurant with an eclectic menu then FnB should be added to your list. Be sure to make reservations in advance as the location isn't incredibly large and they do their best to space out the different dining areas. Their menu changes based on the seasons but during this visit there were great protein options such as the grouper. In addition the grouper I got the preuvian rolls, cabbage, lamb manti, and pecan chocolate dessert to end the night. The preuvian rolls had a nice crisp and I also enjoy the grilled cabbage/feta combination. The grouper was hearty and filling and not something I usually see on menus so it was a must try. My favorite of the night was definitely the lamb manti with the combination of the lamb and pomegranate seeds. It didn't have a gamey flavor and has a nice pop of acidity. The pecan chocolate dessert was so rich but was balanced with the ice cream on top. It's a great dessert to get and with the rest of the meal I left stuffed!

This place is hard to find unless you know Old Town Scottsdale well, so leave sometime to wonder around looking for it. They charge $20 per person to hold your reservation, but refund it promptly when you show up. Menu changes often and features a lot of vegetarian choices. We ordered stuffed squash (my favorite dish), persimmon salad, mushroom momos, pork and paprikash - all were great! Norwegian salmon spread thing was not so good - a big piece of lox on top seemed out of place. The space where we set was very dark and it was hard to see food presentation or what we were eating. For example, lox pieces on top of salmon spread looked like tomato slices... Overall, this is an interesting place to try.

Cozy inside with cute outdoor seating - staff was super nice and accommodating and were able to seat us way earlier than our reservation time (we were starving lol) Food: Grilled broccolini [5/5]: super yummy and crispy - honestly think they can be spicier! Loved the crunch of the pistachios with it as well Latkes [5/5]: i loveee latkes and these were perfect (smelled and tasted delicious). Super crispy on the outside, hot and steamy on the inside, pairs nicely with the sweet applesauce. Mushroom momos [4/5]: really yummy if you like mushroom and dumplings - taste profile reminded me of a moussaka. The momos were't super juicy though so definitely not like the traditional south asian momos. Mexican corvina [4/5]: really delicate fish, cooked to perfection- the corn/salsa is super sweet and pairs nicely with the meat. Wish the skin was a bit crispier but overall really yummy Brioche doughnut [5/5]: yum! Soft and cakey, tastes of fall (would skip this if you're not a fan of cakey doughnuts) - i heard the server suggest to another table that they can order the doughnut with the pudding and dip it, something interesting to try if you go :)

FnB is a wonderfully creative restaurant that takes the farm-to-table approach to a whole new high-quality level. Dishes are so tasty, service was on point, and the place is very pretty and upscale. Overall, it was a great little discovery for us. They even welcomed our baby, which is very appreciated because that's uncommon at fancy spots. They provide complimentary bread and olive oil. Then you order a bunch of plates to share, so it's a fun culinary journey. It was all unique and delicious. Highly recommend everything we got: Stuffed squash Salmon rillettes White beans and ricotta Seabass Chocolate cake with ice cream Some cocktail that my husband got Hibiscus Big Marble non-alcoholic drink It's no surprise that they are considered one of the essential restaurants of Scottsdale!

This is the first time I am doing this, I am giving an extra star to FnB, Sooo 6/5 I wanna thank the chef and the servers for making such an upscale experience for me. The plating in this restaurant is humble, you don't see fancy plating but not a single dish in this restaurant is something you have tried before. The level of creativity and genius I saw with these dishes is to a level that I can't even express. The ambiance is also very very cozy but charming. I can just say one thing, PLEASE GO TO THIS PLACE. Don't leave this world before going there at least once. I am still shocked by what I had here, It was all WOWs And as always, the best dish goes to the pork tender loin which was served with peach... GO NOW (NOT LATER)
